Friendship Neighborhood Association was established to inform residents of the Friendship Heights area of Washington, D.C. and nearby communities as well as D.C. government officials and other relevant groups and organizations about pending and potential zoning and land-use issues related to the Wisconsin Avenue corridor in the upper Northwest quadrant of the city. The association is dedicated to advancing and protecting the interests of neighborhood residents as commercial, industrial and residential development or redevelopment occurs along Wisconsin Avenue. Limiting or mitigating the impact of that growth on schools, fire and emergency medical services, traffic, parking, air and ground pollution, and other quality-of-life indicators is FNA’s primary objective.
FNA is organized under the District of Columbia's Uniform Unincorporated Nonprofit Association Act of 2000 (D.C. Law 13-231).
